It’s been a big year for Just Play. Not only have they released two new apps – Just Play & One Game, but they’ve also come up with a super fun new look!
The following is an insiders look into their rebranding journey…
Visuals that pop!
Just Play was created to make it easy for anyone to join a sports team. Social sport is such a fun, friendly and rewarding way to get fit so they wanted to capture these feels in some colour-popping photographs.
The CEO and co-founder David discovered Giulia McGauran on Instagram and reached out to see if she’d be interested in being the Creative Director for the new campaign:
“We loved her unique and super colourful style and hoped she would be interested in helping create some new imagery for us. A few months (and a very fun full day photoshoot) later and we were blown away by the results!”
A huge shoutout to the rest of the team, including Nick Campbell for his awesome videography, Stephanie Kha for casting and Hayley for the super fun styling.

New logo
After six years Just Play figured it was time to update the logo. Out with the old and in with the new, and they were pretty excited to show you the new Just Play logo:
Also, with single games becoming more popular by the day they have gone and created something entirely new for those players looking for one-off games. Say hello to their new ‘One Game’ app on iOS and Android. Stay tuned for all the details on this in the coming weeks, in the meantime here is a sneak peek of the logo!
Making it easier than ever to Just Play!
After managing and building thousands of sports teams in partnership with over 150 of the best venues around Australia, they’ve been incredibly excited to launch the new app for iPhone and Android users.
“It was a big process to make sure the app met all the needs of our players in a user friendly way. The new Just Play app includes all of the features you loved about our web based player dashboard and some new ones to make registering for competitions and managing your weekly game as quick and easy as possible.”

Want to get involved? Just Play builds social teams from individual registrations. You can enter Just Play on your own or with 1 or 2 friends and be placed on the same team.
